Here is a little teaser. It is from the first chapter of the first Round:
Finally, the dark haired beauty let her sword hang by her side. Mai wouldn't look behind
her again. It was all too much and she needed to keep her cold exterior for now. No weaknesses whatsoever. Moving forward
a few steps Mai placed her hand on the window. It was smooth and cold. She ran her hand down it and sighed heavily. Lifting
her sword, her head turned a quarter turn back and thinking better of it Mai stopped herself. She wouldn't look at it again.
It was the first step to finishing her mission and if she stalled any longer she would be caught and there would be no having
that.
Here's another teaser. This time it is from the second Round:
"We better get off here. The roof is gonna collapse in a second." He stood and looked over
the roof. Still much too high for his comfort but he had no choice. He prayed he landed decently. He pulled on the other strap
of his backpack and flung himself off the roof. He threw his arms out to his sides, knowing that by doing so it would slow
him down and let the backpack catch some air too. He watched the ground come closer and closer. Finally, just before he landed
he turned as best as he could so his feet were positioned and landed on his feet, the spikes of his boots digging into the
ground. Amazing what his father had taught him.
